Building IM Capacity
Turning challenges into opportunities

The Information Management (IM) Community is growing in both the private and public sectors everyday. It is growing because IM is becoming more respected as a discipline as opposed to a concept; it is growing because organizations are starting to realize the benefits; it is growing because the community now makes an effort to collaborate and network.

This networking is an ongoing effort, and it has brought to light a hierarchy within the IM Community. This hierarchy speaks more to the experience of an individual with IM principles, rather than their level within the organization. Therefore, networking with like individuals from different organizations is not the only priority… but also about how different IM professionals with different expertise communicate within one group or organization.

This program has been built with that in mind. ARMA-NCR (The Association of Records Managers and Administrators – National Capital Region) is proud to present its Annual Fall Seminar. "Building IM Capacity" will offer a variety of both plenary and breakout sessions in an interactive format, where the delegate can form his or her own path. This is not a meeting; we've listened to the wants and needs of ARMA members and other IM professionals and are offering you the chance to turn challenges into opportunities.

3 streams will feature session for Newcomers, Functional Specialists and Managers. Topics will cater to your level within your IM Community as well as your varying areas of interest. You can choose what you learn, and at what level you'll learn it!

Whether you're an ARMA member or not, this is a learning event you'll not want to miss. This is an opportunity to meet with colleagues, learn from the best and go back to your tasks, with new ideas and strategies. At an Early Bird rate of $325 for ARMA Members, and $399 for Non-Members, this conference is an excellent value!

Early Bird Rates valid until November 10th, 2006
