Welcome to the FCO Conference
As president of the Forum of Canadian Ombudsman, I am very pleased to invite you to participate in the upcoming Montreal Conference. As the demands on our offices continue to grow, finding solutions to some of those difficult challenges has never been more important. The Montreal Conference offers you a chance to find out what others do and what might work for you.
Whether your motivation is hearing about new tools of the trade, building new relationships with colleagues or sharing best practices, I’m convinced you will find value and satisfaction at the FCO Montreal Conference 2007.
Last year, I had the privilege of speaking to the Brazilian Pro-Citizenship Institute in Recife, Brazil. The Institute is sending a delegation to the Montreal Conference and they hope to establish contacts with colleagues from our country. The Brazilian delegates will surely add an interesting international flavour to our meeting.
The Conference Committee, chaired by Hydro Québec’s Corporate Ombudsman Justine Sentenne, is working hard to ensure that this event is one that you don’t want to miss. Unique Solutions to Universal Problems is a great value for FCO members who register before the Early Bird Deadline. There is also a discount on registration fees for offices sending three or more delegates. Look at the links for more information.
I look forward to seeing you in Montreal in May.
Bernard Richard
FCO President
Early Bird Deadline: Friday, May 4th, 2007
