Why Should I Attend?
A learning event like no other, this year’s conference takes a modern approach to meeting our information management (IM) challenges of today and the future. This conference’s first iteration in 2007 brought together the diverse IM communities from across the Ontario Public Sector (OPS), and last year we took a look at the future to gain an understanding of the proverbial “big picture”. One of the key points that was reinforced through both of these events was that IM challenges are ever-evolving, and that for the OPS to be successful we must work together to meet these challenges head-on.
“Managing Information in the Public Sector: Meeting the Challenge” is dedicated to just that: bringing together the diverse IM communities in the OPS, and exploring how we can work together to meet our IM challenges corporately, in our distinct organizations, and at the desktop.
In discussion with other IM practitioners, IM professionals and through dynamic presentations you will obtain a clearer vision of issues, methodologies, solutions and opportunities as the government deals with new and emerging ways of creating, sharing and managing information.
