HEALTHCARE MAGAZINE
Healthcare Information Management & Communications Canada (HIM&CC) is published by HC&CC, Healthcare Computing & Communications Canada, Inc. The magazine has been serving the Canadian Healthcare Industry since 1987.
Aside from "newsy" items, the magazine publishes articles reflecting current issues, which pertain to today's volatile Healthcare environment. We publish four quarterly editions as well as an annual "Resource Guide" which, in essence, is a tool for those interested in procuring consulting services and/or information technology and software applications.
We are proud to be the official journal of COACH, Canada's Health Informatics Association. We have enjoyed this relationship with COACH since 1987. We are pleased to announce that COACH and HIM&CC have renewed that arrangement for 2002.
With a readership in excess of 5,500, HIM&CC's audience is reflective of the diversity of Canada's Healthcare Industry. Because of the diversity of our audience, the content of the magazine tends to be colloquial as opposed to technical or academic in nature.
CAPAPA
The Canadian Association of Professional Access and Privacy Administrators (CAPAPA) is a unique association that is dedicated to the ongoing professional development, education and expanded expertise of individuals who work in the information access and privacy field. Incorporated in June, 2002, CAPAPA has members across Canada in both the private sector and all levels of government.
CAPAPA is proud to be a supporting association of the Prairie Health Information Privacy Day 2007. Please visit their website at www.capapa.org for more details about CAPAPA and the programs they run and support.
CAPAPA has been created in response to the growing demand for information access and protection of privacy (IAPP) professionals in the private and public sectors. The Faculty of Extension of the University of Alberta has played a key role in helping to facilitate the creation of this professional association.
