Welcome to Prairie Health Privacy Day 2009
Welcome to the 3rd annual Prairie Health Information Privacy Day, previously held in Winnipeg and Regina. This year’s conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Calgary on November 30 - December 1, 2009, hosted by the Office of the Information & Privacy Commissioner of Alberta, Office of the Information & Privacy Commissioner of Saskatchewan, and the Manitoba Ombudsman Office.
This event is designed for anyone affected by the health information privacy laws across Canada's three Prairie Provinces, giving them the opportunity to learn about other provinces' laws and how their policies and practices have been working so far directly from government officials and industry veterans.
For a more in depth exploration on health information privacy, the following three themes have been developed to set the tone for this conference:
- Coming to terms with the law
- Maintaining successful operations
- Unraveling other mysteries
Through a series of plenary and breakout sessions as well as optional workshops exploring these themes, delegates will have a clear understanding of health information privacy issues, giving them insights on their own organization’s health information privacy policies and practices.
Join your colleagues today and open the doors to new and exciting ideas in the world of health information privacy! Register now and save with the early bird special of $399.00 (valid until October 30, 2009)!
